Hello, Moss Bluff, Southwest Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas! I’m James Burnham, your dedicated State Farm agent, and I’m proud to live, work, and serve in the community my family calls home!

My wife, Robin, and I have been married for 30 years, and together we’ve raised four children and welcomed our granddaughter, Vivienne. We also share our home with two dogs and a cat. I’m actively involved in our church, enjoy fishing, bow hunting, cooking jambalaya and gumbo, and supporting the people and traditions that make this area so special.

My insurance career began in 2004 after leaving a successful banking career. I worked in a State Farm agency, became a corporate employee in 2005, and opened my agency in 2008. Today, with over 22 years of experience and credentials including LUTCF, Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and financing product licensing across Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, I remain passionate about helping customers protect what matters most. I believe in the value of State Farm products and the difference they can make for individuals, families, and business owners. Our office also brings more than 70 years of combined insurance experience, and my son Matthew is proud to be part of our agency team!

Giving back is important to me. We support local high school football, baseball, soccer, and golf programs, partner with local schools through education initiatives, contribute to graduation celebrations, and proudly support the Red, White & Boom Fourth of July event for the Moss Bluff community.
